Dili, 07 November 2025 - Universidade da Paz (UNPAZ) through International Class Students MBBS program celebrates one hundred and fifty (150) years of India's National Anthem (VANDE MATARAM), in the auditorium of MBBS UNPAZ.
On this occasion, the Magnificent Rector of UNPAZ, Dr. Adolmando Soares Amaral, Lic. Eco.,MM. said, bringing the big family UNPAZ, happy and pleased with the Indian ambassador to Timor-Leste commemoration of Indian national anthem day at the University of Peace. The Unpaz family wishes the ambassador and the entire family in Timor-Leste a big celebration of the national anthem (VANDE MATARAM).
The Rector of the University of Peace said, Timor-Leste has just restored independence for the 22nd time, need to learn a lot from India.
“UNPAZ is grateful to the Indian team for opening the MBBS program in our country Timor-Leste, to give opportunities to Timorese to learn, asking students not to waste time and take advantage, so that we can become like India in the future”, said the Rector of UNPAZ.
During the celebration of the National Anthem (VANDE MATARAM) of India, MBBS students also performed cultural dances, sang music and reflected including opening a video of the history of India during the invasion. Present at the event, Indian Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Madan Kumar Ghildiyal, with the entire delegation, University Senate Structure, Faculty Senate, Director, Heads of Units, including MBBS students at the University of Peace.
