Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the effect of company performance proxied by the current account saving account, price earnings ratio, net profit margin, dividend pay-out ratio, and return on equity on market value proxied by price to book value. The selection of samples in the banking sector with a low level of current account saving account is a unique research contribution so that it can help banks with these criteria to develop. Multiple linear regression was used in analyzing banking observation data from 2010 to 2020. The results showed that the variables current account saving account and price earnings ratio did not have a significant positive effect on price to book value, while net profit margin had a significant negative effect on price to book value while dividend pay-out ratio and return on equity have a significant positive effect on price to book value.
